About this opportunity

The Missouri Department of Public Safety - Army National Guard Environmental Division is seeking a contractor for a Grassland Management Project at the Camp Crowder Training Site (CCR) located in Neosho, Missouri. The procurement involves spot spraying approximately 583 acres of land to address undesirable plant species, including invasive, noxious, and troublesome native plants, with specific attention to half an acre of kudzu. Contractors must provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to perform the project, which will be awarded on a per-acre basis with a minimum guaranteed area of 100 acres. To be considered, vendors must submit a completed and signed bid sheet along with a valid pesticide applicator's license. The Request for Quote (RFQ23001573) was issued on December 28, 2022, with responses due by January 26, 2023, at 11:00 AM CST. A pre-bid meeting was scheduled for January 19, 2023, at 10:30 AM at the Camp Crowder Training Site Headquarters, available by appointment only. Bidders can submit their proposals via the MissouriBUYS system or by email to the project manager.

The solicitation does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond, indicating the opportunity is open to all qualified vendors. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are mentioned in the documentation. The RFQ does not provide a specific estimated total contract value or budget range, instead focusing on a per-acre pricing model. Payment terms are set at Net 30 Days, and the contract will be managed by Miranda Weed from the Missouri National Guard Environmental Division, who can be contacted at 573-638-9694 for additional information. The project requires vendors to have a comprehensive understanding of grassland management techniques and the ability to effectively control and remove various undesirable plant species using appropriate spot spraying methods. While no specific evaluation criteria are detailed, the successful contractor will need to demonstrate technical capability, appropriate licensing, and the capacity to complete the project across the specified 583-acre site.
