About this opportunity

The Jordan School District (JSD) is seeking to establish a one-year contract for glue procurement through a competitive bidding process for its Central Warehouse. The solicitation aims to secure a responsive and responsible vendor to supply glue products with a contract term from October 2025 through September 30, 2026. Vendors must provide glue as part of their standard product line with ongoing availability, submitting pricing in dollars and cents rounded to two decimal places. The bid requires FOB Destination Freight Prepaid pricing, with quantities representing estimated annual needs but not guaranteeing specific purchase volumes. Key bid requirements include a six-month price guarantee, submission of prices based on specified unit measures, and an understanding that orders will be placed on an as-needed basis throughout the 12-month contract period. The bid submission deadline is October 20, 2025, with strict guidelines prohibiting "all or none" bids and imposing restrictions on vendors who primarily deal in closeout, surplus, or liquidation inventory.

The solicitation explicitly excludes vendors who exclusively source products through closeout, surplus, liquidation, overstock, discontinued, or end-of-line inventory channels. This includes jobbers, surplus dealers, clearance resellers, and opportunistic bulk buyers. No specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises are mentioned in the available documentation. Minimum order requirements are subject to JSD's discretion, with vendors potentially being disqualified if their minimum order quantities are deemed excessive. While the exact budget range is not specified, the contract is structured to allow flexible ordering based on the district's ongoing needs. The procurement appears to be a standard competitive bid process focused on establishing a reliable glue supply for the district's central warehouse operations, with an emphasis on standard product availability and competitive pricing.
