The project is funded by a grant from the New York State Department of State and subject to that agency's approval of all contractors and subcontractors.

The Village will evaluate proposals on quality and completeness, approach to scope completion, qualifications and relevant experience, past performance on similar projects, and proposed fees. No incumbent is identified; no identical or substantially similar contracts have been awarded in the past five years.

Respondents must submit eight hard copies and one electronic copy to Christine Van Horn, Village Clerk, 26 Chapel Street, Union Springs, NY 13160, or clerk@unionspringsny.gov. Questions are due October 9, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Consultant selection is anticipated the week of January 18, 2027, with a project start date of February 1, 2027. Respondents bear all proposal preparation expenses and may not seek reimbursement. The selected contractor must provide workers' compensation and liability insurance with the Village listed as an additional insured.
