About this opportunity
The State of Maine Division of Purchases is requesting quotes for EZ-Pak Filters EZHAWG474, with quotes due April 20, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. local time.
Bids must be submitted electronically. Unit prices must be quoted separately for each item unless otherwise specified. All pricing must be delivered to destination and include transportation, freight, and applicable discounts. The State is exempt from Federal and Maine state sales and use taxes; quotes should reflect this exemption. Cash discounts of 20 days or more are factored into lowest-bidder determination; discounts under 20 days are not considered. Bidders may propose alternate commodities or trade-name product equivalencies.
Awards will be made on an item-by-item or group basis according to best value to the State, evaluated on quality, conformity to specifications, delivery date, and overall cost. Tie-breaker provisions favor in-state bidders or those offering Maine-produced commodities. The Division reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, waive formalities and technicalities, increase or decrease quantities by 10%, and accept items deemed in the State's best interest. Contractors must furnish items exactly as specified; any deviations are subject to rejection. All deliveries must comply with applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. Material safety data sheets must be provided for hazardous chemicals as required by Maine law. Quotes may be withdrawn by written notice prior to contract award. Bid tabulations will be available for public inspection following award.
