About this opportunity
The Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) on behalf of the Texas Pharmaceutical Initiative (TPI) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit qualified vendors to provide Executive Search Firm Services. The selected vendor will be responsible for securing senior-level positions, including the Executive Director, to manage the TPI. The scope of services includes the pre-recruitment phase (developing a search strategy plan, establishing a search committee, and preparing for the recruitment), the recruitment phase (executing the search, screening and interviewing candidates, and providing recommendations to the TPI Board), and the post-recruitment phase (debriefing the TPI Board, notifying candidates, and guaranteeing the placed candidate for 12 months). The contract term is 2 years with an option to extend for 1 additional year. The pricing structure includes an all-inclusive fee per search, pass-through items, and an all-inclusive blended hourly rate for any supplemental services requested by HHSC. Respondents must meet minimum qualifications related to years in business, experience conducting executive-level searches, financial solvency, and compliance with the solicitation requirements. Proposals will be evaluated based on the respondent's relevant qualifications and experience, proposed project approach, and cost.
The RFP is open to vendors across the state of Texas, including the jurisdictions of Travis County and the City of Austin. The procurement does not mention any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The RFP also does not provide any information on listed incumbent vendors or current contractors, existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration, or possible award values or budget ranges.
