About this opportunity
Georgia Southwestern State University, located in Terrell County, Georgia, is issuing an electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) to establish an exclusive beverage pouring rights and sponsorship contract pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (O.C.G.A. 50-5-50 et seq.). The procurement seeks a qualified cold beverage supplier capable of providing exclusive pouring rights and sponsorship services to support the university's campus vending operations. The successful vendor must deliver comprehensive beverage solutions with emphasis on maximizing the vending operation through strategic product mix, competitive pricing, innovative marketing, and reliable service. Key qualifications require that offerors be capable of fully addressing all specified requirements in a complete proposal submission, with failure to comply resulting in non-responsive status. The evaluation criteria emphasize the vendor's ability to contribute to the economic success of the agreement through creative and innovative approaches to campus beverage distribution. The proposal deadline is September 28, 2023, with the contract term set for one year plus four successive one-year renewal options.
The procurement is restricted to exclude third-party campus providers currently serving Georgia Southwestern State University, thereby limiting competition to external vendors not already operating under institutional agreements with the university. The solicitation does not specify set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises or minority-owned businesses, nor does it identify any incumbent contractors or existing beverage service agreements. No budget range or award value is specified in the available procurement documentation, leaving financial terms to be negotiated based on vendor proposals and the university's evaluation of cost-effectiveness relative to service quality and vending operation revenue potential. Interested vendors must submit complete proposals addressing all solicitation requirements by the September 28, 2023 deadline to be considered for this exclusive beverage pouring rights and sponsorship opportunity.
