About this opportunity

Broward County, Florida is conducting an open-end/indefinite quantity competitive solicitation for Everpure (Pure Storage) data storage hardware, software, support, and training services to support the Enterprise Technology Services Division and various other County agencies. The County seeks to transition from its existing Dell EMC storage platform to Everpure solutions to enhance performance, scalability, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness. The procurement encompasses hardware, software subscriptions, support services, professional services including implementation and maintenance, Everpure Authorized Training, and associated product additions throughout the product lifecycle. The awarded contractor must be an Everpure Global System Integrator at the Elite level and serve as an authorized reseller for the complete Everpure product line, maintaining direct relationships with Everpure for order processing and hardware/subscription registry. Pricing shall be based on minimum percentage discounts off Everpure's United States Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP), with delivery required within 30 calendar days FOB destination including inside delivery and lift gate services, and all equipment must include a minimum 90-day warranty with prompt remediation at no cost. The contractor must provide monthly one-hour meetings with the County, quarterly technology roadmap discussions, a dedicated customer portal for order management and warranty tracking, and ensure County personnel receive appropriate training under the Everpure Evergreen/Forever subscription model with flat renewal rates. The basis of award will be the lowest responsive and responsible bidder on a total bid price basis, with the County reserving the right to award on a group, item-by-item, or total price basis as deemed in the County's best interest. Questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted through Broward County's Electronic Bidding System (BPRO) by the questions due date, and all vendor responses must be submitted electronically through BPRO by the April 30, 2026 deadline to receive a submission receipt.

This solicitation contains no small business enterprise set-asides or reserved contracting goals; however, certified Small Business Enterprises (SBEs) and County Business Enterprises (CBEs) may qualify for procurement preferences if their bids fall within ten percent of the lowest responsive, responsible bid. Vendors may also qualify for local business preference status under Broward County Code Section 1-74 if they maintain a current local business tax receipt and meet local business location requirements. Additionally, for contracts exceeding $100,000, vendors must comply with Broward County's Domestic Partnership Act by providing benefits to registered domestic partners on the same basis as spousal benefits unless exempt due to fewer than five employees, non-provision of spouse benefits, governmental status, nonprofit or charitable status, religious institution status, provision of cash equivalents, or conflicts with federal/state law. The solicitation does not identify an incumbent vendor or current contractor, though it specifies that the County is transitioning from Dell EMC storage infrastructure, indicating that compatibility or integration with existing County systems may be relevant to implementation. Required insurance includes General Liability ($500,000 per occurrence/$500,000 aggregate), Auto Liability ($500,000 combined), Workers Compensation at statutory limits with Employers Liability ($100,000 per accident), Pollution/Environmental Liability (maximum $10,000 deductible), and Professional Liability/Errors & Omissions ($100,000 maximum deductible), with Broward County named as additional insured and providing primary coverage. The contract will be awarded for an initial five-year term beginning upon award, with optional renewal for up to two additional three-year terms (not to exceed five years total unless extended by Board action), with no guaranteed minimum quantities specified and all quantities being estimates only subject to County purchase orders as needed.
