About this opportunity

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking qualified vendors to provide Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) services through a multi-year contract. The DEP intends to award up to five contracts for an initial term of five years, with the option to renew for an additional five years. The services required may include performing Phase I and Phase II ESAs, remediation coordination, and other activities to support the Department's land acquisition efforts under the Florida Forever Act. Respondents will be evaluated based on their past performance, technical capabilities, and pricing. Proposals must be submitted in three volumes: Business Response, Technical Response, and Price Sheet. The deadline for submitting proposals is June 18, 2023.

The contract is open to all qualified vendors, and there are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The DEP has existing contracts with vendors such as Cardno, Inc., WSP USA Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc., and GHD Services, Inc., each of whom has been under contract for 10 years. The total contract amounts awarded to the incumbents range from $7,925 to $352,225, and the DEP indicates there is no expected specific contract budget, as task assignments will be issued for approved tasks.
