About this opportunity
The City of Albuquerque Aviation Department is soliciting proposals to enhance and operate an airport advertising concession at Albuquerque International Sunport under a reissue offering two packages, with proposals due October 1, 2026.
The Sunport is the principal commercial service airport serving Albuquerque and New Mexico, located five miles southeast of downtown. The terminal complex encompasses more than 600,000 square feet with 25 air carrier gates distributed across Concourse A (13 gates), Concourse B (9 gates), and 3 additional gates on the second floor (2 commuter gates, 1 international arrivals gate connected to U.S. Customs). The concourse gates align linearly in an east-west configuration parallel to and connected via terminal-concourse connector to the terminal complex. The surrounding infrastructure includes a two-level terminal loop roadway, a 3,390-space parking garage, a 450-space premium economy parking lot, a 568-space basic economy parking lot, and a 76-space cellphone waiting lot.
The scope encompasses enhancement and ongoing operation of airport advertising signage and display concessions across these facilities. The reissue structure offers two distinct packages, though the specific service line, advertising media types, exclusivity terms, revenue-sharing arrangements, and performance obligations for each package are not detailed in the source material. Interested vendors should consult the full solicitation document and attend any pre-bid conference or industry day to understand package differentiation and technical requirements.
No set-asides, preference programs, or eligibility restrictions are identified in the source. No incumbent contractor, estimated contract value, contract term, evaluation criteria, or procurement timeline milestones (question due date, pre-bid meeting date) are specified beyond the October 1 proposal due date.
