About this opportunity
The Florida Department of Children and Families is issuing a Request for Information on the Eligibility Assistance Program, seeking market intelligence on service delivery models and operational capabilities for a program providing information, referral, and navigation services to persons with disabilities seeking Medicaid eligibility and community-based services, with responses due September 29, 2026. This RFI is for planning purposes only and will not result in a contract award.
Respondent eligibility is restricted to tax-exempt organizations incorporated in Florida and in good standing with the Florida Division of Corporations, with at least twenty years of experience operating local or regional programs serving persons with disabilities and existing call center and online access capabilities. The Department may request presentations or demonstrations from selected respondents following the response deadline at no cost to the Department.
Responses must address organizational qualifications; recommended service delivery models including intake processes and case management workflows; call center and online infrastructure capabilities with accessibility features; staffing models and implementation timelines; coordination approaches with partner agencies; performance measures and reporting capabilities; pricing methodologies and cost drivers; and potential implementation challenges with mitigation strategies. Responses must be submitted electronically in PDF format to Marc Magee at Marc.Magee@myflfamilies.com and hqw.procurement.team.activities@myflfamilies.com.
Questions are due September 1, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time, with Department responses provided by September 15, 2026. Respondents bear all costs associated with response preparation and any required meetings. All responses are considered public records subject to disclosure unless exempt under Florida law.
