About this opportunity
The State of Maine Department of Administrative and Financial Services, Division of Procurement Services, is requesting quotations for one electric walk-behind pallet stacker on behalf of the Department of Corrections, with quotations due August 22, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
The stacker must meet detailed specifications: minimum 2,200-pound load capacity, adjustable forks, minimum 135-inch lifting height, mast height under 90 inches, fully electric powered movement and lifting, and inclusion of a battery charger or onboard charger with new battery bank. Submissions must include a wet-signed Bid Cover Page and Debarment Form (or electronic signatures via DocuSign or Adobe Sign with audit reports), a quote on company letterhead, product data sheets in PDF format documenting compliance, and warranty information. All quotations must be submitted through the State of Maine's AdvantageME Vendor Self Service system.
Delivery is to Maine State Prison, 807 Cushing Road, Warren, Maine. The State's preferred delivery timeframe is 60 days after award, and delivery dates may factor into the award decision. Quotations must use FOB Destination terms with all shipping charges included; the State is exempt from federal, state, and local taxes and expects quotations to exclude these. Bid pricing must remain valid and binding for 180 days from the date and time of bid opening.
Evaluation will be conducted on a best value basis, considering conformity with specifications, delivery dates, and overall State interests, with award anticipated to be made to the lowest-priced compliant bidder. The State reserves the right to negotiate for additional units at the bid price for six months after award and reserves the right to not award to the lowest bidder if documented poor performance or contract termination occurred within the last five years. All questions must be submitted through VSS no later than 48 hours prior to closure.
