About this opportunity

The City of Philadelphia is requesting quotations for an electric snow shovel micro purchase due October 13, 2026, to be awarded as a whole or by line item to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Prospective sellers must quote all items to be eligible for award and may not deliver products or provide services until notified by the contracting department.

The contract term is 365 days from the Effective Date specified in PHLContracts, with automatic termination thereafter. The total contract value shall not exceed $45,000, adjusted annually by the percentage increase in the Consumer Price Index for Urban Consumers (CPI-U) from January 1, 2020, and rounded to the nearest thousand dollars. All pricing must be net and exclusive of taxes (the City is exempt from federal excise, transportation, and Pennsylvania sales and use taxes), and all products must be delivered FOB Destination Point.

Quotations must be submitted electronically through the City of Philadelphia's PHLContracts platform (PHLContracts.phila.gov) by a seller with legal authority to bind the company. All terms and prices must remain valid for 60 days from submission or throughout the contract term for requirements contracts. Sellers must execute and submit a signed Consent and Authorization Agreement prior to bid closing, either by attaching a scan to their vendor profile at registration or by including it as an attachment to their first submitted quote.

Successful sellers must comply with all applicable laws, nondiscrimination requirements, tax obligations, and insurance requirements, including General Liability coverage of $500,000 per occurrence and workers' compensation insurance. The City reserves the right to reject any and all quotations, accept quotations from multiple sellers, or accept quotations on any combination of items.
