About this opportunity
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) has issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the procurement of environmental sampling equipment. Specifically, the WDFW is seeking to acquire four (4) new and unused EDNA sampler backpack combos equipped with lithium-ion batteries, one (1) new and unused EDNA sampler combo including a lithium-ion battery, and one (1) pole transect EDNA sampler. This equipment will be used by the WDFW's Aquatic Biodiversity Program and Columbia River Management Unit to collect environmental DNA (EDNA) samples and understand fish presence with minimal impact. Vendors must submit their quotations by April 11, 2024, at 12 PM, with a required delivery date of close of business on May 31, 2024. WDFW will pick up from any vendor within Washington State, while vendors outside of Washington will need to deliver to the WDFW warehouse in Tumwater, WA.
The contract is estimated to be valued at less than $150,000, and WDFW intends to award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bid from a Small Business or Veteran-Owned Business, unless none of these businesses are responsible and responsive to this solicitation. WDFW is trying to minimize the purchase of products with polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and requests that any packaging be without color or dyes. Payment will be processed by WDFW upon satisfactory receipt of the goods, and all title and licensing will be handled by WDFW.
