About this opportunity
The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), Office of Domestic Violence, is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to identify eligible entities that can provide domestic violence services in Marion County. The goal is to find organizations, including existing certified domestic violence centers in good standing or not-for-profit corporations that prioritize services to domestic violence survivors, who are willing and able to administer these services. The required services include providing a facility, receiving annual written endorsement from local law enforcement, and offering minimum services such as information and referral, counseling, emergency shelter, and community education. The RFI also seeks information on the organizations' approach to expanding or transitioning services in Marion County, their needs for successful expansion, and their plans to garner local community support. The RFI does not request any specific cost or pricing information, as this is not a solicitation for an offer, but the Department may use the responses to prepare future competitive solicitations and as a basis for vendor meetings. Eligible organizations are encouraged to review the provided standard contract information to familiarize themselves with the anticipated services.
The RFI is open to any eligible organization, including existing certified domestic violence centers in good standing or not-for-profit corporations that prioritize services to survivors of domestic violence. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The Department does not list any incumbent vendors or current contractors, and there is no information provided about any existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration. The RFI does not specify any award values or budget ranges, as this is an informational request and not a solicitation for offers.
