About this opportunity

The City of Detroit Office of Contracting and Procurement on behalf of the Department of Innovation and Technology is requesting quotes for CrowdStrike cyber security licensing services under RFQ 549635, with quotes due October 16, 2026 at 3:00 PM EST and questions due September 23, 2026 at 2:00 PM EST.

This is a renewal of an existing CrowdStrike environment with no implementation, migration, or configuration services required—licensing only. Respondents must provide annual pricing for a two-year contract term, with optional pricing for three- and five-year alternatives. The City operates a centralized CrowdStrike tenant and has specified required modules and endpoints in Attachment C; vendors may substitute current CrowdStrike SKUs with outdated versions matching existing product terms. CrowdStrike Falcon Complete must satisfy monitoring and response requirements without separate managed security services. The solution must comply with Criminal Justice Information requirements under FBI CJIS Security Policy and Michigan CJIS standards, including FIPS 140-2 cryptographic standards, FedRAMP standards, and twelve-month log retention for Falcon Next-Gen SIEM.

Respondents must demonstrate a minimum of five years of experience providing log monitoring and managed services for cyber security projects with government entities, including Public Safety customers, and must be familiar with Michigan CJIS requirements, HIPAA standards, and IRS Publication 1075. Submissions must include three relevant projects completed within the last five years with client references. Respondents must register in the Bonfire procurement portal to download documents and submit quotes; late or emailed submissions will not be accepted. The City anticipates one or multiple awards; any renewal options are subject to Detroit City Council approval. Successful awardees must obtain Worker's Compensation, Commercial General Liability ($1 million per occurrence / $2 million aggregate), and Automobile Liability insurance with the City named as additional insured. Respondents must submit notarized affidavits (Disclosure of Interests and Non-Collusion), Certificate of Authority, three years of audited financial statements, and complete Conditions of Award requirements including SAM registration and Treasury Clearance before contract execution.
