About this opportunity

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), Division of Oil & Gas Resources Management, is seeking a contractor to complete partition installation and renovation work at the Salt Fork Office located in Kimbolton, Guernsey County, Ohio. The project requires comprehensive interior renovation, including installing new wall partitions, owner-provided carpet panels, removing and replacing existing rubber cove base, installing a new door with frame and hardware, and painting walls and door frames. The solicitation requires contractors to provide all labor and materials, following manufacturer recommendations and adhering to project specifications. Interested bidders must submit proposals through Ohio Buys by October 3, 2025, with the work scheduled for completion by December 31, 2025. Potential bidders can schedule site visits by contacting Jason Simmerman, and project-specific questions should be directed to Tara Lee. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with the bid evaluation based on the total bid amount, including a $3,000 allowance for unforeseen conditions.

The procurement opportunity appears to be open to all qualified contractors, with no specific set-aside designations mentioned in the documentation. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage requirements, non-discrimination policies, and provide appropriate insurance coverage, including Commercial General Liability, Commercial Automobile Liability, and Workers' Compensation. The contract will require the successful bidder to sign a Personal Services Contract and submit various documentation, including an Affirmation and Disclosure Form addressing offshore services and data location restrictions. While a specific budget range is not explicitly stated, the bid schedule provides line items for wall partitions, door and frame installation, and carpet and cove base work, suggesting the total project value will be determined through the competitive bidding process. Contractors must also provide required submittals prior to performing onsite work and be prepared to legally dispose of all removed materials and clean the job site upon project completion.
