About this opportunity

The Michigan Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) is seeking a contractor to provide boiler treatment chemicals and services for the Fort Custer Training Center, Camp Grayling, and all DMVA armories in the state. The awarded contractor will be responsible for supplying various boiler chemicals, including alkalinity builders, anti-scaling agents, corrosion inhibitors, amines, glycol, biocides, algaecides, pH adjusters, oxygen scavengers, nitrate treatments, and specialized treatments for aluminum systems. The contract also includes monthly servicing of three boilers and three cooling towers. Proposals are due by 3:00 PM Eastern on December 5, 2022, and the anticipated contract start date is January 3, 2023. Bidders must provide detailed pricing for the requested goods and services, as well as complete a Vendor Questions Worksheet. The State will evaluate proposals on a pass/fail basis and may consider the bidder's qualified disabled veteran/service-disabled veteran-owned business status.

The contract opportunity is open to all responsive and responsible bidders who can meet the State's requirements. The State reserves the right to negotiate contract terms, conduct site visits, and request additional price concessions during the evaluation process. The contract will be awarded to the bidder who offers the best value to the State. No incumbent vendor or budget range information is provided in the available documents.
