The Florida Department of Military Affairs (DMA) has issued an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the repair and maintenance of a Sand Blasting System located at the Camp Blanding Joint Training Center in Starke, Florida. The procurement focuses on comprehensive repair and maintenance services for the existing sandblasting booth, dust collector, breathable air system, and compressed air system. Key deliverables include system repairs anticipated to begin May 1, 2025, with completion expected by June 1, 2025, and a two-year maintenance contract involving quarterly system inspections. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid site visit on April 8, 2025, and submit comprehensive bid packages by 4:00 PM EST on April 24, 2025. Required qualifications include registration in the MyFloridaMarketPlace system, submission of a detailed price sheet, references, drug-free workplace certification, minimum qualifications statement, and vendor certifications. Evaluation criteria will likely include the completeness of the bid package, proposed project schedule, itemized materials list, and breakdown of materials, labor, and maintenance contract costs.

Vendors must be prepared to comply with domestic content procurement requirements, which mandate that iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials be produced in the United States. The estimated project expenditure is approximately $50,000, though this figure is provided only as a guideline and should not be considered a definitive budget ceiling. The contract includes provisions for a two-year maintenance service agreement with potential for renewal, covering the dust collector, breathable air system, and compressed air systems. Bidders will need to provide comprehensive documentation demonstrating technical capability, including detailed technical specifications, maintenance approach, and qualifications for performing specialized sandblasting system repairs and maintenance. The procurement appears to be open to qualified vendors with appropriate technical expertise in industrial system maintenance and repair.
