About this opportunity
Sacramento County is soliciting bids on a new surveillance system installation at the Department of Human Assistance facility at 1825 Bell Street, with bids due July 23, 2026 and a mandatory pre-bid meeting on July 14. Prospective vendors must be Certified ExacqVision Select or Elite Dealers with an office within 50 miles of the job site — a restrictive capability gate.
The scope includes ten Axis P3737-PLE multi-sensor cameras with wall, pole, and pendant mounts; six Axis P3277-LV dome cameras; one Axis P1487-LE bullet camera; two Gridless Power Sentry battery/POE kits with pole mounts and AC chargers; two KBC wireless network P2P kits; five ExacqVision Enterprise camera licenses; and comprehensive cabling, connectors, patch cords, conduit, and hardware. All installation work must occur during normal business hours with programming and final acceptance testing performed by the vendor in coordination with County Electronic Security Services. The contractor must provide one-year minimum warranty from acceptance date and is solely responsible for debris removal, damaged ceiling tile replacement, and ensuring compliance with local government and County standards. The project has a 60 working-day completion schedule from the specified commencement date, with liquidated damages of $500 per working day for delays.
The estimated construction cost is $85,814.25. Bid security equal to 10 percent of the aggregate bid amount is required. As a California public works project, prevailing wage requirements apply under California Labor Code sections 1720 and 1770. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations and hold a valid California contractor's license (C10 or C7 classification). Performance and payment bonds of 100 percent of the contract price are mandatory. The Advanced Clean Fleets regulation applies, requiring the apparent low bidder to submit valid Certificates of Reported Compliance or applicable exemptions by 4:00 PM on the Monday following bid opening. Questions are due July 16 at 5:00 PM. Award goes to the lowest responsive bid of a responsible bidder. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
