About this opportunity

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is requesting bids on dental equipment for the Denton State Supported Living Center under IFB HHS0017444v2, with responses due July 8, 2026 at 10:30 A.M. Central Time and questions due June 30, 2026.

The scope comprises five line items: an ADEC 511 dental chair with ADEC 532 traditional delivery system, ADEC 551 stationary assistant instrument, AirTeq AirStar 21 oil-free compressor, AirTeq VacStar 40 wet vacuum (Line 1 grouped as a comprehensive package with freight included); an ADEC 521 doctor's stool, Product #101538548 (Line 2); and an ADEC 522 assistant's stool, Product #101538549 (Line 3). All items are classified under NIGP Class 26026, with one unit each. Bidders must submit firm, fixed pricing on Exhibit C (Pricing Sheet), along with Exhibit A (HHS Solicitation Affirmations, Pages 1–14) and Exhibit D (Bid Execution Page), with pricing in U.S. dollars only and all freight costs included.

Historical spend for the same or similar goods totaled $46,808.94 for the period from award through August 31, 2026, provided as a guideline with no guarantee of volume or usage. The initial contract term runs September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027, with one one-year extension option exercisable at HHSC's sole discretion. Both HHSC and the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) are entitled to use any resulting contract.

Award is made on demonstrated ability to perform and price, with best value to the state as the criterion rather than lowest price alone. HUB Subcontracting Plan submission is encouraged but not required. No vendor and HUB conference is scheduled. Delivery must occur between 7:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M., excluding 11:00 A.M. to noon, with vendors responsible for all delivery costs and late-delivery penalties. Solicitation affirmations must address non-debarment, E-Verify compliance, child support obligations, conflict-of-interest disclosures, and restrictions on abortion services, gender transitioning treatments for children, foreign ownership in critical infrastructure, and certain telecommunications equipment. Responses remain firm and binding for 240 days from submission.
