About this opportunity
The state of Arizona, specifically through the Department of Emergency and Military Affairs (DEMA), is seeking a contractor to paint GSA Buildings 239 and 241 located at Camp Navajo, with the solicitation identified under Contract ID 66d30dfa071beb1d0004bb82. The procurement is for a single painting project with specific requirements for completing the scope of work. Potential bidders must fully complete the items grid within the solicitation without attaching separate pricing proposals. All questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted through the Discussion Forum tab in the procurement system, with direct emails to procurement officers or project managers prohibited. The solicitation requires multiple mandatory documents for bid submission, including Offer and Acceptance, Trade Secrets documentation, Subcontractors and Materials Supply List, and various certifications related to corporate authority, participation restrictions, and labor practices. The bid is due on September 24, 2024, with the opportunity initially posted on August 30, 2024, providing approximately 25 days for potential contractors to prepare and submit their proposals.
The contract appears to be open to general contractors with appropriate painting and construction credentials, though specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided information. Contractors will need to demonstrate compliance with various certification requirements, including representations about not participating in boycotts of Israel and certification regarding forced labor practices. While specific budget ranges are not specified, the project involves painting work at two GSA buildings within the Camp Navajo facility, suggesting a focused, potentially moderate-scale infrastructure maintenance project. The solicitation covers Gila County and the Bellemont Census Designated Place (CDP) in Arizona, indicating a localized procurement opportunity. Interested bidders must ensure they meet all licensing, bonding, and documentation requirements outlined in the contract terms, with careful attention to the comprehensive list of required submission materials.
