DCPO-2012-R-0447 - Voting Machine Supplies

The District of Columbia is seeking procurement of voting machine supplies through solicitation DCPO-2012-R-0447, with proposals due on February 10, 2012. This procurement appears focused on acquiring critical electoral infrastructure components necessary for maintaining voting system functionality. The contract opportunity specifically targets suppliers capable of providing specialized voting machine supplies, though the precise technical specifications are not fully detailed in the provided documentation. The extremely short timeline between posting (February 9, 2012) and proposal submission (February 10, 2012) suggests this may have been an urgent or expedited procurement process. Potential vendors would need to demonstrate rapid responsiveness, technical competence in electoral equipment, and the ability to meet strict municipal procurement requirements within an accelerated submission window.

While the available information does not explicitly outline set-aside designations or specific vendor restrictions, municipal procurement processes often include preferences for local businesses or disadvantaged enterprise participation. The contract appears to be a standard municipal procurement without clear indications of specific socioeconomic targeting. No incumbent vendors or existing technological infrastructure details are provided in the current documentation. The potential award value and specific budget range are not specified in the available information. Interested vendors would need to contact the District of Columbia's procurement office directly to obtain comprehensive details about qualification requirements, technical specifications, and potential contract value for these voting machine supplies.
