About this opportunity

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is requesting competitive bids on Darley Model 1 AGE 21H brush truck pump units under ITB FFS 26 27 42, with sealed bids due October 8, 2026 at 5:00 PM Eastern Time at the FDACS Mayo Building in Tallahassee, Florida. A Florida-vendor preference under Florida Statutes Section 287.084 applies; non-Florida vendors must submit attorney opinions regarding preferences granted in their home states.

The scope is five units of the Darley Model 1 AGE 21H high-pressure, medium-volume, gear-driven, engine-mounted pumps equipped with Honda GX 630 engines and specified control panels, spark arrestor kits, and rain cap assemblies. No manufacturer or authorized-dealer letter is required; wholesalers and resellers may bid as prime vendors provided they supply the exact specified products. Bidders need not be authorized Darley dealers or distributors. Requests for approved equivalent products are not accepted; strict adherence to the specified Darley model is required. All vendors must be registered and current with My Florida MarketPlace and comply with Forced Labor Certification, Lobbying and Debarment Certification, and Drug-Free Workplace Certification (recommended).

Bid pricing must be submitted as firm fixed unit prices inclusive of packaging, handling, shipping, delivery, and all related fees. The award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible vendor based on Grand Total Price. All pumps must be delivered by December 2, 2026 to the Florida Forest Service-Central Shop in Lake City, Florida. All items carry a 90-calendar-day warranty against defective materials and workmanship. Prices are held firm for 12 months, with additional quantities potentially ordered within that period. The procurement is subject to a one percent MyFloridaMarketPlace Transaction Fee. Questions were due September 29, 2026; written responses were posted October 1, 2026. A public bid opening is scheduled for October 9, 2026 at 9:30 AM via teleconference or in-person attendance.
