About this opportunity

The Georgia Department of Transportation cancelled eRFQ 48400-DOT0002522 for daffodil bulbs on March 8, 2022, due to administrative errors. The solicitation, originally posted February 25, 2022, with quotes due March 25, 2022, sought to establish a contract with one or more qualified suppliers to provide Narcissus spp. (Amaryllidaceae family) in 23 identified varieties for roadside enhancement planting throughout Georgia. All materials submitted under the cancelled solicitation remain closed pending potential rebid.

The Department determined daffodils to be the most cost-effective, pest-free, long-term perennial option for Georgia's climate, selected for early spring color and compatibility with other bulbs, perennials, annuals, and flowering shrubs. Interested vendors should monitor the Georgia Procurement Registry at https://ssl.doas.state.ga.us/gpr/ for notice of any subsequent solicitation. If Georgia elects to rebid, all suppliers must submit responses to new bid forms and requirements.
