About this opportunity

The state of Ohio, specifically for Paulding County, is seeking a contractor to install a new Hydrotek Model HN35005E3G natural gas pressure washer at 833 W Wayne Street in Paulding. The project requires a comprehensive installation involving multiple technical components, including setting the pressure washer in place, installing a new remote station, cutting and splitting wash plumbing to create two operational sections, and using 3/4" stainless steel piping. The contractor must handle complete installation responsibilities, which include venting the unit through the wall, bringing power from the panel box with a new breaker and disconnect, connecting gas lines, splitting existing wash bay feed lines, and installing the pressure washer remote panel in the center of the wash bay. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for all project measurements, material procurement, equipment testing, and providing training. Interested contractors can contact Tony Lotz at 419-296-5780 for questions or site visits. The solicitation was posted on April 16, 2025, with proposals due by May 7, 2025.

The contract opportunity does not explicitly specify set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises. The attached government files, including the Affirmation and Disclosure Form and Purchasing Standard Terms and Conditions, indicate robust compliance requirements focusing on service location, data management, and non-discrimination principles. Contractors must affirm that all services will be performed within the United States and disclose comprehensive information about their business and service locations. The documents emphasize strict guidelines around employee treatment, prohibiting discrimination based on race, religion, color, sex, national origin, disability, age, or military status. While no specific budget range is provided in the documentation, the technical complexity of the pressure washer installation suggests a specialized procurement requiring advanced mechanical and electrical installation skills. The contract appears to be a direct procurement for the Ohio Department of Transportation, with potential integration requirements involving existing wash bay infrastructure.
