About this opportunity

The State of Nevada, Office of the Military, is requesting bids for shower replacement at the CSMS facility in Carson City, Nevada, with proposals due August 15, 2026 via Nevada EPRO. Award is contingent on State and/or Federal funding appropriation.

The scope comprises removal of four existing shower stalls from rooms A123, C105, and C113 and installation of four new showers with associated plumbing components including Moen Posi-Temp rough valves with chrome trim, isolation valves, and new drain and p-trap systems. All plumbing must be tested for leaks upon completion. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, transportation, and debris removal and disposal. Work occurs Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the secure military base located at 2444 Fairview Drive. Plumbing drawings are attached and serve as the primary technical specification.

The contract term extends from Board of Examiners approval through June 30, 2029, with a one-year warranty period on all workmanship and materials from the substantially completed date. Contractors must hold Nevada Business License and Nevada Contractors License (if applicable), register with the Nevada State Controller's Office and Nevada EPRO prior to payment, and submit proof of insurance before work commences. Minimum insurance requirements include Commercial General Liability with a $2 million general aggregate limit, Commercial Automobile Liability with a $1 million combined single limit, and Workers' Compensation insurance. All required documentation—Nevada Business License, Contractors License, Addenda Acknowledgement, and proof of insurance—must accompany bid submissions on company letterhead via Nevada EPRO.

Site visits may be scheduled with Travis Skretta, regional Point of Contact, at (775) 690-9106 at least two working days in advance. The State reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and award in its best interest based on compliance with Nevada Revised Statutes, overall cost, conformance to requirements, and current licensure.
