About this opportunity

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is pursuing a single-source procurement with Crossmark, Inc. for the "Fresh from Florida" Grocery Retailer Marketing Program. This procurement aims to support the Florida Agricultural Promotional Campaign through in-store samplings of Florida agricultural products in Publix and Food Lion stores nationwide. The contract will run from the date of execution through June 30, 2026, with Crossmark, Inc. being the sole authorized partner capable of executing in-store samplings in the specified grocery stores. Key deliverables include promoting and generating additional retail sales for Florida agricultural products using the "Fresh From Florida" logo, with the vendor required to be a non-paid member of the "Fresh From Florida" Industry Membership program. The procurement follows Florida Statutes 571.2 and 571.24, which authorize the department to establish and coordinate agricultural promotional campaigns. Prospective vendors who believe they can provide these commodities or services must submit relevant information to the contact person by July 2, 2025.

The procurement does not specify explicit set-aside designations or restrictions on responding organizations. The contract is specifically targeting Crossmark, Inc. as a single-source provider, with no mention of disadvantaged enterprise provisions. The estimated total contract amount is up to $600,000.00, with an approximate contract amount of $450,000.00. No incumbent vendors beyond Crossmark, Inc. are mentioned, and there are no specific details about existing infrastructure or technology integration requirements. The procurement is limited to the specified marketing and sampling services within Publix and Food Lion stores, focusing on promoting Florida agricultural products. The department will review any information received from prospective vendors and ultimately determine whether the commodities or contractual services are available from a single source, with a potential notice of intended agreement to be posted on the Vendor Information Portal pursuant to Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes.
