About this opportunity
Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW), on behalf of the State of Colorado Department of Natural Resources, is requesting documented quotes for seasonal snow and ice removal and ice melt application services at the CPW Littleton Office Complex in Littleton, Colorado, with quotes due September 4, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. MDT. Resident Bidder Preferences and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) preferences of 5% apply.
The scope encompasses snow removal, ice removal, and ice melt application services during the snow season (typically October through April) at 13787 South Highway 85, Littleton. Service delivery combines both snow/ice removal and ice melt application within a single response event, with billing on a per-service-visit basis. Contractors must monitor independent weather conditions and respond within specified timeframes outlined in the Scope of Work; CPW reserves the right to dispatch additional services at its discretion. Vendors must maintain Commercial General Liability insurance with minimum limits of $1 million per occurrence, Workers' Compensation insurance, and Automobile Liability insurance with minimum limits of $1 million.
The contract term is one season through June 30, 2027, with CPW holding the right to extend annually up to four additional times for a maximum duration of five years through June 30, 2031. Pricing will be evaluated on best value. Respondents submit cost per service visit; CPW does not disclose a specific budget amount or guarantee a minimum amount of work due to the unpredictable nature of seasonal services. Annual rate adjustments may apply beginning July 1, 2027, based on the Chained Consumer Price Index over the prior 12 months, rounded to the nearest whole dollar. Invoices are submitted monthly based on completed service visits and paid upon Project Manager approval.
A pre-bid meeting was held August 25, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. MDT at the project site; attendance was not mandatory and vendors who did not attend remain eligible. Amendment #2 providing Questions & Answers clarification was posted August 28, 2026. The expected project start date is October 1, 2026.
