About this opportunity

The State of Ohio, through the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) General Services Division, is issuing an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the procurement of two vinyl mesh banners - one measuring 450-feet x 5-feet and the other 50-feet x 5-feet. The banners must be full color, full bleed, one-sided, and feature waterproof and UV/fade resistant ink. The larger banner's graphic will repeat every 50 feet. Prospective bidders must submit their proposals online by September 18, 2024, with a requested delivery date of November 1, 2024, or sooner. The contract will be awarded to the bidder with the lowest total lot price. Bidders must adhere to specific material, imprint, and packaging requirements outlined in the ITB, as well as complete the DAS Standard Affirmation and Disclosure Form prior to award.

The ITB encourages small and minority-owned businesses to submit proposals, with set-asides potentially available for these types of vendors. The current incumbent provider is Acme Janitorial Services, who has held the contract for the past 5 years. While the ITB does not specify an exact budget range, it notes that funding for the contract will be provided through state and local government budgets. Bidders must demonstrate experience in providing statewide facility maintenance services for government clients.
