The procurement is specifically targeting a comprehensive technology solution to enhance dispatching and vehicle tracking capabilities for the transit agency located in La Crosse County, Wisconsin. Qualified and experienced vendors are invited to submit detailed proposals addressing the technical requirements of a new CAD/AVL system, with submission deadline set for September 20, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at the MTU office located at 2000 Marco Dr., La Crosse. Proposals received after the specified time will not be accepted. The complete RFP document, which contains all project and submittal details, is available for download from the La Crosse MTU website at https://cityoflacrosse.org/mtu. Interested vendors are expected to thoroughly review the RFP to understand the full scope of work, submission requirements, and evaluation process for this critical transit technology procurement.
The RFP does not explicitly mention specific set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise requirements, or preferences for minority-owned businesses based on the available documentation. No information regarding incumbent vendors or existing technology infrastructure is provided in the current materials. Similarly, the published documents do not specify a precise budget range or potential contract award value for this CAD/AVL system replacement. Potential respondents should carefully review the full RFP to understand any implicit qualifications, integration requirements, or technical compatibility considerations with the existing transit system infrastructure. Vendors interested in responding to this opportunity should be prepared to demonstrate comprehensive experience in developing and implementing complex transportation management technology solutions that can effectively support fixed route bus services.
