About this opportunity

The City of Austin is requesting quotations for two units of a Compressor Gas Cooler ECM-2 (Stock No. 22460) under IFQ 1100 CPG1083, with quotes due September 10, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time. Austin Energy, a department of the City of Austin, is procuring this equipment through a two-tiered process: initial quotations are solicited from certified HUBs and M/WBE vendors via direct email notification based on applicable commodity codes; if adequate responses are not received, the opportunity is posted publicly on the City's Austin Finance Online website with notice sent to all registered vendors for the relevant commodity codes.

The approved manufacturer is M&C TECH (Part No. 740-02K7510SA). Each unit must include two units of part number 01P9125 and one unit of part number 02F3201A. Quotes must be submitted on an FOB Destination basis with all freight charges, handling, and shipping included in the item price. The City of Austin is exempt from federal excise and state sales tax; tax must not be included in quoted prices.

Award will be made to the lowest responsive offer meeting any stated minimum qualifications. The City reserves the right to compare quotes on individual line items, categories, or aggregate pricing as most advantageous to its needs. Contract terms include payment within 30 days of invoice receipt contingent upon proper documentation and satisfactory performance; a three-year records retention requirement; warranties for merchantability and fitness for purpose; and compliance with federal and state regulations including wage theft certification and non-discrimination provisions. All offers and related documents are subject to public disclosure under Texas Government Code Chapter 552, except for portions marked as proprietary.
