About this opportunity
Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC), a state of Colorado entity located in Ouray County, is soliciting a documented quote for the procurement of one non-radiographic x-ray simulator unit to support its Radiologic Technology program expansion. The equipment must replicate CNCC's existing Summit Simulator Non-Radiographic System and include a four-way float-top table, transverse rotational tubestand, wall stand, non-operational x-ray tube, manual collimator, Rayence Acquisition console software with Xmaruview acquisition software (medical), and a minimum one-year manufacturer/distributor warranty with three-year console warranty. The simulator must be delivered to the CNCC Craig Campus at 2801 West 9th Street, Craig, Colorado 81625, with an on-site delivery deadline of June 30, 2026 (preferred by May 30, 2026). All costs for equipment, mandatory installation, and shipping/freight must be included in a single lump-sum price submission. Written inquiries are due by 5:00 PM Mountain Time on April 10, 2026, with state responses estimated by 5:00 PM MT on April 13, 2026. Quote submissions must be received via email by 5:00 PM MT on April 16, 2026, with estimated award notification on April 20, 2026, and a desired contract start date of May 1, 2026. Mandatory vendor requirements include good standing with the State of Colorado, current General Liability Insurance of at least $1 million per occurrence and $1 million aggregate, legal authorization to distribute and install the equipment, completion of the CNCC Response Sheet (Appendix C), proof of insurance, and a completed W-9 form. Award will be made to the responsible respondent whose acceptable quote is most advantageous to the State, with price/cost as the primary consideration, though lead time and sample quality may also be evaluated.
Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration and incorporated or maintaining an office in Colorado receive a 5% preference on quoted pricing. There are no listed incumbent vendors or specific set-asides for other disadvantaged enterprise categories mentioned in this solicitation. Respondents must accept the State of Colorado's standard 45-day payment terms and purchase order terms and conditions; failure to agree to these terms may render the bid unresponsive. The procurement is a one-time purchase with no renewal options, and vendors must comply with all applicable federal and state laws regarding employment practices, safety standards, and environmental regulations as outlined in the Colorado Purchase Order Terms and Conditions. The total budget for this procurement is $35,000, which represents the maximum lump-sum price including all equipment, installation, and shipping/freight costs. This is a straightforward equipment acquisition designed to support the College's growing Radiologic Technology program, which launched in Fall 2025 with 8 students and will expand to 14 students across two cohorts in Fall 2026.
