About this opportunity

The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) is seeking an independent testing laboratory to evaluate and certify the Intelligen Central Monitoring System (CMS) developed by IGT. The MGC has contracted with IGT to configure, install, and operate the Intelligen CMS to monitor up to 20,000 electronic gaming devices (EGDs) at the Plainridge Park Casino. The selected laboratory will be required to validate the CMS's compliance with 18 specific technical requirements, including its ability to support the maximum number of EGDs, utilize proper gaming industry protocols, provide command and control capabilities, ensure compatibility with various slot machine manufacturers, validate signatures and auditing, maintain network redundancy, handle invoicing, support progressive slot machines, and manage user access controls. The selected laboratory will also need to identify any findings that could materially impact the system's operation for the purposes of EGD regulation and provide a written certification report.

The RFR does not mention any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The current incumbent or contractor is not specified. The budget or award value range is also not provided in the information given.
