The procurement type is a competitive application process with electronic submission required by May 4, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. through the secure procurement portal at https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/claycounty. Proposals will be evaluated on eight criteria totaling 100 points: Organizational Capacity and Experience (20 points), Program Offerings and Quality (20 points), Community Reach and Participation (15 points), Youth Development and Outcomes (15 points), Access, Equity and Affordability (10 points), Staffing, Volunteers and Leadership Development (10 points), Governance, Compliance and Policies (5 points), and Strategic Vision and Growth (5 points).
Organizations responding to this procurement must be Florida not-for-profit corporations with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status and remain in good standing throughout the lease term. The application document does not specify set-asides for disadvantaged enterprises, minority-owned businesses, or other designated groups. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the procurement materials. The lease agreement will commence on July 1, 2026, and continue through June 30, 2029, with renewal provisions upon mutual written agreement if facilities remain available. The Athletic Association will pay annual rent of one dollar per year, payable in advance, making this a nominal-cost lease arrangement.
