About this opportunity

Clark County, through the Nevada Office of the Military, is soliciting competitive bids for concrete polishing services at the Clark County Armory (Nevada Army National Guard facility) located at 6490 Range Road, North Las Vegas, Nevada. The scope of work encompasses removing existing flooring materials including tile, epoxy coating, and VCT tile; preparing concrete surfaces; polishing to a high-shine finish; patching voids and cracks; installing vinyl cove base; and managing dust control and debris removal. Qualified contractors must possess a current Nevada business license and Nevada contractors license (if applicable), maintain Commercial General Liability insurance with minimum limits of $2,000,000 general aggregate and $1,000,000 per occurrence, Commercial Automobile Liability insurance with combined single limits of $1,000,000, and Workers' Compensation insurance as required by Nevada Revised Statutes. Bidders must submit detailed proposals through Nevada EPRO with base bid pricing for fiscal years 2025 through 2028, as well as hourly rates for emergency or as-needed services with applicable markups for materials across the four-year period. Site visits must be scheduled at least two working days in advance with the regional Point of Contact. The bid release date was February 11, 2026, with proposals due by March 6, 2026. Work will be performed Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the contract term extending from Board of Examiners approval through June 30, 2027. The State reserves the right to award based on overall cost, conformance to requirements, and demonstrated qualifications rather than lowest price alone.

No specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises or restrictions limiting bidder eligibility are mentioned in the procurement documents. All contractors must complete background checks and obtain security clearance through the Nevada Army National Guard Personal Security Questionnaire process, as work will be performed on a secure military facility requiring valid government-issued identification and subject to vehicle and equipment searches upon entry. No incumbent vendors or existing contractors are identified in the solicitation materials. No specific award value or budget range is provided in the available documentation; however, payment will be made within 30 days of invoice receipt and agency approval, with award contingent on State and/or Federal funding availability. The contract term is fixed through June 30, 2027, and the contractor must register with the Nevada State Controller's Office and Nevada EPRO as a vendor, maintaining all required insurance throughout the contract duration and applicable warranty periods.
