This procurement is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a contract that requires electronic bid submission with a due date of October 26, 2023. The primary deliverable is hourly spiritual support services, with each unit defined as one hour of service that must include all associated costs, including travel. The opportunity appears open to standard commercial vendors capable of providing chaplaincy spiritual support services. While no incumbent vendor was mentioned, the contract involves providing services at Warren State Hospital, suggesting potential integration with existing hospital infrastructure and protocols. The solicitation indicates that quantities are estimated and may fluctuate based on departmental needs, which implies flexibility in contract execution. Travel and all associated costs must be incorporated into the per-hour unit pricing, which suggests bidders should carefully calculate their total cost structure. Although a specific budget range was not provided, the contract will be awarded based on the lowest responsible bid, indicating cost will be a significant factor in vendor selection. The contract incorporates several key addenda, including a Statement of Work, Terms and Conditions, DHS Addendum, Business Associate Addendum (HIPAA), and an Audit Clause, which suggests comprehensive administrative and compliance requirements for the selected vendor.
