About this opportunity

The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (CFTOD or the District) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide repair and inspection services for the Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) located at the Magic Kingdom Central Energy Plant in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The HRSG was commissioned in 1988 and is a 1x1x1 system with a GE LM6000 gas turbine, which was upgraded in 2006. The District is seeking contractors experienced in the installation, replacement, or repair of high temperature/high pressure hot water and steam systems, who can comply with all relevant local, state, and federal codes and standards, including but not limited to ASME Code for Pressure Piping, B31.1 - Power Piping. Contractors must provide cost estimates for repairing any known or discovered deficiencies in the HRSG, and the District will complete an analysis and evaluation of the collected data and information in a future effort. The bid is due on May 20, 2024.

The District has bid preferences for local vendors, veteran small businesses, and opportunity zone businesses on most solicitations. The Invitation to Bid does not provide any information about incumbent vendors, current contractors, or the anticipated award value or budget range for this project.
