About this opportunity
Collier County, Florida is soliciting quotes for stone conservation services at the Historic Christ Episcopal Church Cemetery in Immokalee through a Quick Quote process, with responses due June 26, 2026 at 3:00 PM and questions due June 11, 2026 at 5:00 PM. The county requires an experienced Stone Conservationist with demonstrated expertise in historical cemetery preservation — the primary qualification filter.
The scope comprises stabilization and restoration of six grave markers within the approximately 0.06-acre cemetery. Task 1 includes resetting displaced or unstable markers, repointing deteriorated mortar joints, and filling and patching masonry cracks and detached fragments. Task 2 requires cleaning of headstones and footstones using D2 cleaning solution, natural bristle brushes, and portable water sprayers without high-pressure equipment. A Ground Penetrating Radar survey by Stantec Consulting Services identified 13 possible graves within the cemetery and will inform the restoration work.
Vendors must submit a lump-sum pricing proposal for the complete scope with no unit pricing. Award is made on a one-time purchase basis to the responsive vendor with the lowest quote. All prices remain firm through the end of the fiscal year (September 30). Vendors must submit proof of Florida business status, current E-Verify enrollment documentation, a W-9 form, and any required professional licenses; new vendors must complete Collier County's New Vendor Form. Insurance requirements include Workers' Compensation per Florida Statutes Chapter 440, Employer's Liability at $100,000 single limit, Commercial General Liability at $500,000 per occurrence and $1,000,000 aggregate, and Professional Liability at $500,000 per claim and in the aggregate. Collier County must be named as additional insured on Commercial General Liability. All goods are FOB destination. Vendors must acknowledge acceptance of Collier County Purchase Order Terms and Conditions without exceptions or alternative contract terms.
