About this opportunity

The City of Rochester Hills is soliciting quotations for Carbon Monoxide (CO) Systems' Calibration, Testing, Monitoring and Repair services across various city-owned buildings. The procurement is structured as a two-year contract with a potential one-year renewal option. Qualified companies are sought to provide comprehensive CO system services, including calibration, testing, monitoring, and repair. A mandatory walk-through is scheduled for Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the DPS Garage (511 E. Auburn Road, Rochester Hills), which will be the only opportunity for potential vendors to access relevant locations. Interested vendors must submit quotations by email to brightk@rochesterhills.org or upload to the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN) website by October 18, 2023, at 4:00 PM EST. Questions regarding the contract must be submitted by 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2023, with written responses to be issued as addenda. Vendors are required to become registered on the MITN website to ensure access to official documents and potential addendum information.

While no specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are explicitly mentioned, the procurement process emphasizes vendor registration and equal access through the MITN platform. Quotation prices must remain firm for 90 days from the opening date, with successful vendors expected to maintain pricing throughout the contract term. The contract does not specify a precise budget range or award value, but it covers CO system services across multiple city-owned buildings. All quoted prices will be evaluated, with the City reserving the right to select one or more qualified firms to meet their service demands. Vendors must demonstrate technical capability to perform comprehensive CO system services, including calibration, testing, monitoring, and repair. The procurement is open to qualified companies with expertise in carbon monoxide system management and maintenance.
