About this opportunity
The City of Philadelphia is requesting quotes on Canon camera lenses under micro purchase B2728123, with bids due October 2, 2026. The award will be made as a whole or by line item, whichever serves the City's best interest, to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; sellers must quote all items to be eligible for award.
The contract runs from September 25, 2026 through June 30, 2027 with a total value ceiling of $45,000, adjusted annually by the percentage increase in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) from January 1, 2020 to the most recently published CPI-U and rounded to the nearest $1,000. Pricing must be quoted on a firm, fixed-price basis delivered FOB Destination Point, exclusive of taxes, and all prices remain valid for 60 days from submission.
Sellers must submit quotes through PHLContracts.phila.gov and maintain a signed Consent & Authorization Agreement in their vendor profile or attached to the first quote submission; quotes lacking this document will be deemed non-responsive. Submission of the LGBTQ Applicant Data Form is voluntary and collects information on LGBTBE certification status through the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce and the Independence Business Alliance, as well as participation of LGBTBE-certified subcontractors; the City uses this data to establish baseline metrics and support expansion of LGBTQ-certified business inclusion in its vendor database.
Required seller compliance includes Workers' Compensation insurance at statutory limits, General Liability coverage of $500,000 per occurrence, Automobile Liability of $300,000 per occurrence, nondiscrimination certification, tax exemption compliance, indemnification obligations, and certification that neither the seller nor parent or subsidiary companies are indebted to the City for delinquent taxes or other debts without an established payment plan. The City reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, accept quotes from multiple sellers, or accept partial quotes on individual line items. Payments are made by electronic deposit following delivery, City approval, and invoice submission.
