Performance and payment bonds must equal 100 percent of the contract sum. Additional statutory requirements include E-Verify employment verification, Act 127 public works employment verification, criminal background clearances, and child abuse history certifications. While no specific incumbent vendors are mentioned, the project triggers special bid conditions for federally or state-assisted construction financed through Rural Development. Liquidated damages will be assessed for contract delays, with $2,000 per day for the General Construction Contract and $1,000 per day for other contracts beyond scheduled milestone and substantial completion dates.
