About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for emergency generator maintenance and repair services under a blanket purchase order, with bids due October 12, 2026.

The scope encompasses ongoing maintenance and repair of emergency generators. Bidders must register in BONFIRE and access the detailed project specifications and response fields through the in-browser BidTable. All bids must include FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs incorporated into the overall price; DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Delivery timing and rate are material to contract performance; failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination.

Payment terms are Net 30 from receipt of invoice or receipt of order, whichever is later, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and must include purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Partial deliveries accepted by the Authority may be invoiced and paid separately when the amount due warrants.

All purchase orders are subject to DART's standard Terms and Conditions, available in the Supporting Documentation section. The contracting officer retains the right to terminate the order in whole or in part for the seller's failure to perform any provision within specified timeframes.

In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12.
