About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting a Blanket Purchase Order (BPO) for coffee and supplies through a competitive procurement process scheduled to close on December 9, 2025. The procurement involves acquiring a comprehensive range of coffee-related products and equipment, including 175 units of regular coffee (1.5oz, 42 pack), 5 units of decaf coffee, 123 units each of sugar and creamer, 30 units of Sweet n Low, 100 units of stir sticks, 30 units of brewers, 22 units of airpots, and 150 units of filters. The base performance period is 12 months, with specific delivery requirements mandating FOB Destination shipping terms and precise delivery schedules. Vendors must complete a detailed pricing schedule and submit all documentation through the Supplier Portal or EUNA/Bonfire platform, with all line item prices required to include associated costs such as labor, equipment, materials, warehousing, and freight. Evaluation will focus on comprehensive pricing, compliance with specifications, and ability to meet stringent delivery timelines, with failure to meet delivery requirements potentially resulting in order rejection or default termination.
No specific set-aside designations or enterprise restrictions were explicitly mentioned in the procurement documents. The solicitation appears open to qualified vendors capable of meeting DART's detailed specifications and performance requirements. While no incumbent vendors were identified, the procurement includes provisions for quarterly equipment inspections and maintenance labor. Payment terms are established as Net 30, with invoices to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org and requiring detailed documentation including purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, and pricing. Though a specific total contract value was not disclosed, the comprehensive nature of the BPO suggests a moderate-scale procurement focusing on coffee service infrastructure for DART facilities. All purchase orders will be subject to DART's standard Terms and Conditions, with dispute resolution governed by Texas law and Dallas County venue provisions.

In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12.
