About this opportunity
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is conducting a single source procurement for 32 Blink Mobile Chargers and 32 Blink HQ 200 Wall Mounts. FDOT is seeking a portable electric vehicle (EV) charging solution to assist EVs that have run out of charge as part of their service patrol vehicles. FDOT has determined that the Blink Charging Unit is the only known solution that meets their size and performance requirements, including the ability to charge a fully discharged EV and provide approximately one mile of range every three minutes. The total estimated dollar amount of this procurement is $140,000. Vendor information must be received by 5:00 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, June 25, 2024. This procurement will be limited to FDOT and the jurisdictions of Leon County and the City of Tallahassee.
The intended source of this single source procurement is Blink Network LLC. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The incumbent vendor is Blink Network LLC, as FDOT has determined they are the only known supplier that meets the required specifications. The budget for this procurement is $140,000.
