About this file

This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). FDOT is requesting information from prospective vendors regarding their ability to supply 32 Blink Mobile Chargers and 32 Blink HQ 200 Wall Mounts. FDOT is seeking a portable electric vehicle (EV) charging solution to assist EVs that have run out of charge as part of their service patrol vehicles. The intended source of this single source procurement is Blink Network LLC. Vendor information must be received by 5:00 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, June 25, 2024.

The total estimated dollar amount of this procurement is $140,000. FDOT has determined that the Blink Charging Unit is the only known solution that meets their size and performance requirements, including the ability to charge a fully discharged EV and provide approximately one mile of range every three minutes. This procurement will be limited to the FDOT and the jurisdictions of Leon County and the City of Tallahassee.
