The school is seeking bids for 188 units of PlasmaAir PA602, Global Plasma Systems FC24, or equivalent BiPolar Ionizers; 48 units of Global Plasma Air FC48 or equivalent BiPolar Ionizers; and up to 236 units of Rib TR50VA015 or equivalent 24-volt transformers, with bidders able to submit proposals in increments of 50, 100, and 236 units as quantities may vary based on power requirements. All bids must include manufacturer's part numbers, quantities, unit prices for each line item, applicable shipping and delivery costs, warranty coverage, and estimated delivery times. Product substitutions are permitted but require submission of specifications and may necessitate testing prior to approval. Sealed bids must be submitted to Michael Holahan at Mattawan Consolidated School, 56720 Murray Street, Mattawan, Michigan 49071, by Friday, May 7, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., with a public bid opening occurring at 1:01 p.m. the same day at the Central Administration Building, where bidders are welcome to attend subject to mask and social distancing requirements. The school intends to place an order on or about June 1, 2021, with deliveries requested within 2 to 4 weeks thereafter.

All bidders are required to submit a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationships between the bidder's ownership or employees and school board members or the superintendent, an affidavit certifying the vendor is not barred from public contracting due to bid rigging or bid rotating convictions, and a certification that the vendor is not an "Iran-Linked Business" as defined under Michigan Act 517. No specific set-aside designations or restrictions limiting bidder eligibility to disadvantaged enterprises are noted in the procurement documents. No incumbent vendors, current contractors, or existing technology integration requirements are identified. The school reserves the right to reject any or all bids in whole or in part, award to other than the lowest bidder, waive irregularities or informalities, and make awards in any manner deemed in the school's best interest. Inquiries regarding the bid should be directed to Michael Holahan at mholahan@mattawanschools.org. No specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the available documentation.
