About this opportunity
The State of Alabama is seeking bids for the procurement of fertilizer (BID-WL-D2-Fertilizer) for the Jackson County Waterfowl Areas. The contract will be awarded on an "all or none" basis to the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications. The contractor will be required to deliver 18 tons of 19-19-19 fertilizer and 17 tons of 46-0-0 fertilizer, all in 1-ton bags, to the Mud Creek and Raccoon Creek Wildlife Management Areas. The vendor must have the capability to store and maintain the full fertilizer order in stock, as well as deliver various quantities throughout the spring and summer of 2024 within 72 hours of a request from the Area Biologist. Vendor proposals that do not meet the stated storage and delivery requirements will be rejected. The deadline for submitting bids is April 24, 2024.
The procurement does not appear to have any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. No information was provided about incumbent vendors or current contractors, or any existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration. The available documentation does not specify a possible award value or budget range.
