About this opportunity
The City of Philadelphia Procurement Department is requesting quotes for beverage containers (10-gallon capacity) under a small order purchase, with quotes due July 22, 2026. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as a whole or by line item, at the City's discretion; sellers must quote all items to be eligible for award.
This is a micro purchase contract with a ceiling not to exceed $45,000 (adjusted annually by CPI-U from January 1, 2020, rounded to the nearest $1,000). The contract term is 365 days from the effective date, automatically terminating without further action. All prices must be net and exclusive of taxes; the City is exempt from federal excise, transportation, and Pennsylvania Sales and Use taxes.
Quotes must be submitted electronically through PHLContracts.phila.gov. Vendors must have an executed Consent & Authorization Agreement on file in their vendor profile prior to bid closing; quotes without this documentation will not be considered responsive. All quotes remain valid for 60 days from submission date. The City will make payments by electronic deposit into the awarded entity's designated bank account.
Sellers must maintain minimum insurance coverage: workers' compensation at statutory limits, general liability of $500,000 per occurrence, and automobile liability of $300,000 per occurrence, with the City named as an additional insured. No contract modifications are permitted after bid opening. Vendors may optionally submit an LGBTQ Applicant Opportunity Data Form; submission is voluntary and used for demographic and vendor database development.
Do not deliver or provide services until officially notified by the department.
