About this opportunity
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is pursuing a single-source procurement for the "Fresh from Florida" Grocery Retailer Marketing Program with Beta II Marketing, focusing on promoting Florida agricultural products. The procurement, posted on June 11, 2025, with a response deadline of July 2, 2025, seeks comprehensive marketing services specifically for the Bravo supermarket chain across the East Coast region. Deliverables include executing circular advertisements, in-store promotions, magazine placements, television advertisements, and social media marketing campaigns. The vendor must be a non-paid member of the "Fresh From Florida" Industry Membership program and demonstrate unique capabilities in planning weekly online sale flyers, creating in-store signage, coordinating promotional activities, developing vendor-specific publications, managing social media content, and conducting digital marketing initiatives. The procurement is authorized under Florida Statute 571.2 and requires potential vendors to provide relevant information demonstrating their ability to meet the specified marketing objectives.
The contract opportunity appears to be limited to a single-source procurement with Beta II Marketing, without explicit set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises. The estimated contract amount ranges from approximately $100,000.00 to an upper limit of $125,000.00, covering marketing services through June 30, 2026. Beta II Marketing is identified as the exclusive provider of promotional advertising services for Bravo supermarkets, with unique qualifications that suggest limited competition for this specific contract. The procurement process allows for other prospective vendors to submit information demonstrating their capabilities, with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services reserving the right to review and determine if alternative vendors can provide the required services. The contract will be posted on the Vendor Information Portal pursuant to Section 120.57(3) of Florida Statutes, following the review of any additional vendor submissions.
