About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has issued a procurement opportunity for bearing blocks, specifically referenced as bid 2096437, with a posting date of November 30, 2025, and a response deadline of December 4, 2025. The procurement is focused on acquiring specific bearing block components, likely for transit infrastructure maintenance or replacement. Potential vendors must register through the Bonfire platform to access full bid details and complete the submission process. All bids must comply with DART's strict purchase order terms and conditions, including mandatory FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price. Vendors are required to submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org, with detailed documentation including purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The procurement emphasizes precise delivery timelines, with failure to meet specified delivery schedules potentially resulting in order rejection and default termination.

While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the available documentation, the procurement follows standard government contracting protocols with Net 30 payment terms. The contract appears open to qualified vendors capable of meeting DART's technical specifications and delivery requirements. No incumbent vendors or specific enterprise restrictions are mentioned in the provided materials. The documentation indicates DART will evaluate bids based on compliance with technical specifications, delivery capabilities, pricing, and adherence to purchase order terms and conditions. While a specific budget range is not provided, the procurement suggests a professional, competitive bidding process for critical transit infrastructure components. Vendors must demonstrate ability to provide high-quality bearing blocks that meet DART's precise technical and logistical requirements, with potential for ongoing procurement relationships contingent on successful performance and compliance with all contractual obligations.
